the above hotels avg normally about 40 to 50sgd per nite for two
have stayed 10+ hotels so far in hcm ...
their breakfast are the better ones, compared to other 3* hotels ..
Going to HCM , staying in hotels, take note of the following:
Across the board, be it 3 or 4 stars hotel, hotels like to lie about their room size
have stayed before few hotels in hcm, almost all hotels lied about their room size ... this is very common in hcm, some have even lied about their star ratings
for example:
hotels that put room size 35m2, the room size is actually about 23m2
Many 3* hotels would put their lowest hotel tier as 22 or 24m2
in fact their room size is actually about 16 to 20m2
most lowest tier hotel rooms , wont have window ...
however some have bath tub

Intercontinental Asiana is good. There's a Hard Rock Cafe downstairs and it's close to Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Notre Dam Church. And close walk to Ben Thanh market.
If you prefer nearer to center of D1, try the Rex, Grand, Continental, grand old hotels like our Raffles Hotel
Riverside also has some nice hotels

If book through agoda ect website, can they still lie about the size and facility?
I have booked many hcm hotels from ota such as agoda and expedia
the size stated there doesnt reflect on the rooms that I have stayed in ...
book day tour, quite cheap ... can try sinhcafe ...
Ya true...most 3* & below are not truthful...got to discount 10-20% on the actual room size...like 25sqm becomes 21sqm. But for the cheap price, I am ok lah, I am not so fussy about hotel room size, most important is it is well equipped and comfortable.
