Theres personalised lockers in the hostel. Just bring your own lock and ear plugs. Your life will never be the same again after a solo travel.

hcm not very expensive ...
Have been to hcm lots of times ...
hcm hotel are relatively cheaper , can find 30+ sgd per nite for 3* hotel ...

have read few reviews, people mentioned that they got pickpocket or robbed along the way ... if you are going solo, better to go to places where there is more people ...

hence is better to stay in a hotel ... vietnam people are not as fluent in english compared to Thailand, in the event if anything happened, you might face language barrier, explaining to people the situation ... hence would advise you to stay at least a 3* hotel

there few stores selling there, u have to check one by one , get the best value

Just don't pay too much for data. It's the slow 3g network, you wont use up the data that easily.
