thanks ... so considering Phuong Trang but reviews have been mixed

so even with flight to Lien Khuong Airport. it's still 45~60mins to Dalat city. is 170K vnd via taxi reasonable?

phuong trang aka futa is the biggest. there are smaller operators like thanh buoi and my vn friends seem to favour them.

about 45 mins. 170k is about $10. sounds like a fair price. perfect if there are more than one people sharing.

Thanks ... but thanh buoi online website only in vietnamese

also considering most don't have toilet on bus ... 8hour with unknown toilet breaks duration ... maybe flight will be more comfortable for me :)

i think 50K plan don't comes with data plan, you need to add separately. useful if you want to retain viet number but need to topup regularly

Yes. I bought my Vinaphone sim from a local market stall. Doesn't come with data. I added some money to get data. I keep it for long term use.

i think 200k for 5gb is too expensive. on vina, 5gb sells for 50k, 200k can get you 20gb.

the rates are similar across the big 3 because they are govt owned.

head to a circle k and get a card from any of the big 3.

if you have not used a prepaid, do some homework first to learn how to use, how to topup, how to buy data plan from the choices of telcos in vn.

use google translate and it would be easier to understand. to buy ticket, just head to the station and buy on the spot if you are not travelling during the vn festive seasons.

you can also check vexere.com for the selection of buses, timings and prices.

my friends told me it would take 5-6 hours if travel at night. buses usually make one break stop midway. you could also request the driver to stop if you are in a real emergency. remember to refrain from drinking too much water 1-2 hours before departure or you will never get to dalat :)

I have a vinaphone 4g sim card. I did a test, and got around 24mbps.

I think airport only have 3g sim. To get 4g sim, you probably need to visit the authorised stores and register with your passport. Not very sure on this. Anyone can confirm this?
