rent car and drive from hcm to dalat and drive back?
No, with driver included. We relax bcos not familiar with roads and got kids. Will go from hcm -> dalat -> nha trang and back.

Not really leh...in Jun we chartered a 16-seat mini bus for 3D2N to Vung Tau for 10 Adults (kids not counted), only VND3.5M, each 350K, so work out only about S$7 per day per pax.

Hello all experts. I read up on sapa and hanoi, and was wondering whether i should do HCM+Dalat or Hanoi+Sapa as sapa and dalat seem very similar to me. Could you all suggest the pros and cons?
Ya, her parents, brother's family and also 2 of her teenage relatives who wanted to tag along as the mini bus was chartered via their mum and its their sch holidays.

lol genting? i think worse right? bus to genting more comfortable then the bus at vietnam.... plus think of a bus suppose to have 30 passengers ..... they have extra 10 - 15 more sitting on the floor.... driving at high speed.....

goldsmiths shops, but u can change at airport some small amount first if u have no dong in the first place.

District 1 . if u eat at the roadside zi cha, rmb to check your bills.
they would confirm tell you to pay more ... happened to us all the times...
hcmc have some stalls selling cashew nut, those with skin one ...
500g abt 100,000 vnd. bargain from them ...
Always change at Ben Thanh goldsmith shops, Mai Van or Ha Tam. Can change a bit, maybe 300-500K at airport just for cabs to D1 if your hotel is there.
I am thinking of going Genting too, many yrs not there but suggest wait for their outdoor theme park (20th Century Fox World) to be ready first, keep delaying, hope next yr ok.
