i always choose jetstar for budget airline
cox their on time rate is highest, among all other budget airlines ...
if flying scoot, i would worry more ...

I always book tigerair for hcm. They give 10 kg for hand carry, unlike jetstar only 7kg. Gotten used to tiger as time goes.
But now tiger and scoot merged, i worry liao. Already not comfortable when i booked online and see many nonsense options. And scoot got a poor reputation for being on time.

don't like to flight timing, wish they were flipped
i.e 2:55pm Hanoi > Singapore & 10am Singapore > Hanoi

no choice. it's a vn based airline. the plane has to come from vn and then drop off passengers and pick up new passengers in sin before returning.

if you want your timings, then take sin based airlines like tiger (doesn't fly daily) or sq ($$$$).

i guess flight still the best option. but still like to know of any luxury bus to Dalat?

I understand there's a shuttle bus from Dalat airport 40K vnd
Any other options?

Been thinking if good idea to rent bike to go around since the bus transport network doesn't seems too developed

May I know how much per person is a safe amount to bring for a 5D 4N trip to Hanoi? Accommodation taken care of already. Planning for a day tour to Halong bay too.

5D4N trip, around $200 SGD worth should be sufficient. If want to shop more, maybe around $300-$350 per person worth is safe enough.

not sure about halong bay, but if its a touristy area, prepared to pay more.

I think just bring $100 sgd extra, if not enough can change there. The rates there are generally better than in SG.

yes, local price around 50-70k. it seems convenience stores sell them now. never tried getting but i think should be local price.

i think 50K plan don't comes with data plan, you need to add separately. useful if you want to retain viet number but need to topup regularly
