Somerset service apartment got 3 bed room one i think...

too far ba go stay there, somemore there nothing to do only one parkson mall

will be heading to HCM in august with group of 8. not my first time to HCM but it's the first time with so many people.

so i'm wondering if it will be btr to have a big service apartment or just 4 separate hotel rooms

would advise you to book 4 rooms ...
else you would be limiting your hotel choices ...
most hcm hotels are smaller scales. 3* hotel normally on average 60 rooms
max, they have triple or quad rooms ... beyond that, you might need to book another room ... hence would be good to book 3* triple room or 2* quad room, if the hotel have ... my guess would be there would be at least 50% of the decent 3* hotels in hcm would have triple room at least ...

can try 4p pizza, better to book online
we didnt book, have to queue up for 35 minutes to get in
pizza was nice ... one pizza is about 13sgd , can split into 2 flavor
ambiance is good and nice also ... take the 3rd floor seats, can have a good view

Airbnb... Stay in Galaxy9 2BR & Sagion Pearl 3BR... not bad

Leave before 6.30pm

average 3* hotel in hcm nearby ben thanh market is around 40+ to 60+ per nite for two ... the better ones, with good breakfsat buffet , in my opinion are:
Le Duy, Elios, Vien Dong, Blue Diamond, Lan lan 1, lan lan 2, etc

Lavender seems not bad ...

Do note, hcm 3* hotel room normally lowest tier is about 18 to 24m2
however, in reality, you might be getting 14 to 18m2 ... tat is their common practice, to write their room size bigger ...
