anyone travelled to Da Nang before?

is it easy to withdraw VND from ATMs there, or even use SGD to exchange for VND at money exchangers there?

As long as the AMT display Maestro or Cirrus.
Otherwise you can ask the hotel front counter where they recommend to change money.

I am going Hanoi for the 1st time, starting to explore northern VN.
I have not bought my ticket yet and planning to depart between 22 Dec to 28 Dec.

I would like some advise for the below:
a) Do you all think 3D2N would be sufficient for exploring Hanoi?
b) Any recommended part of Hanoi to find a hotel?

After Hanoi, would be heading to HCM for New year Eve countdown.

If first time, 3/5 days should be enough. It depends on what you are looking for, food/sightseeing or.
