Hi,

I will be staying in Novotel Dalat. May I know what is the best transport to take from Dalat City to the hotel? And is there any transport from HCM direct to Novotel Dalat.

Thanks

You probably have to arrange with sinh cafe for a one way bus transfer from Dalat to HCM. or you can opt for a private car transport from Dalat to HCM as well.

I'm surprised that Halong Bay was not included on the above itinerary. It should be a must visit place if you are travelling North. Although Ninh Binh is nice and is also a 'Mini Halong Bay'.. I hope your family members does not include old age folks as some of your program schedule maybe a little exhausting..

I don't find Ninh Binh or Tam Coc particularly interesting. Haven't been to Halong Bay but I would prefer to spend the extra day at Sapa or Hanoi.

hello to Techadd

Hi Techadd ... i will be going to HCM this coming Sep 18 to 23 ...5d4n , you got any good hotel recco for me? Maybe 3 to 4 star. I have seen a lot ppl talking abt Elios , is it good? you got pictures of it? I will need 2 rooms, one room with queen size big, the other one will be normal.... may i know u got any lobang for it?

And may you suggest what kind of itinerary is suitable to 5d4n? I think i will give that tunnel and museum a pass as i think it will be total boredom. Any other place with nice scenery and distinct Viet flava place to visit?

One last question, most impt, hows the night life like in HCM? Any cheap and happening pubs, discos over there?

Sorry for the many questions as it's my 1st time visiting there ... hope you don't mind ... =)

Hey, I will be going HCMC on the 17th and will return on the 23th.

My plan:

Day 1: Morning flight, reach there 11+ am then go find hotel. And a over night bus to Dalat for Day 2's night.

Day 2: explore HCMC, at night, overnight bus to Dalat

Day 3,4,5: dalat

Day 5 night: overnight bus back to HCMC

Day 6: Cu chi tunnel

Day 7: morning flight back to spore.

---------------------------------------------------

Any tips and recommendation for me?? places to explore and all? I will be travelling alone. Anyone going this period? And erm, is it advisable to bring my laptop there? How much $$ do you all reckon I should bring along? Casual traveller here, hehe.
