Guys!
Has anyone flew vietjet before? Is it safe? Currently it has the cheapest flight to hcmc.

I am planning to go hcmc this oct, I have been there 3 years back, visited the cuchi, mekong delta, all the museums, markets and cathedral all. What other places you guys recommend to visit? Or do yall recommend we take a train to visit some other places for a day trip or two?

Thanks

vietjet air seems to have a baisc "charge" (or tax?) of $$100 for return.

but for dec flight e.g S$142 return with baggage still S$40-50 cheaper than tigerair

For hcm just be aware. their cab companies name looked alike.
vinasun vs vina ....
the better ones such as vinasun and mah ling would go by meter .

Am going hcm this weekend. How much your exchange rate? =)

suggest to just go hcm to change. The airport itself has better rates compare to singapore, but the best rates are those goldsmith shops near ben thanh.

Normally I will just go vn airport to change $50 for cab fares, then the rest of my monies change at the goldsmith shops. Airport rates should give you about 16,500 ~ 16,700. Goldsmith shop that I went to 2 weeks ago gave me 16,900.
If you were not changing alot, e.g. if i were changing less than $500, I will just skip goldsmith and change all at the airport, simply because I feel safer there. Do take note there are a few money changers at the airport, make sure to find the ones that give u exchange rates without commissions. Ask them upfront.

Normally would change at Singapore. Sometimes the rates at airport is good.
When reaching airport, there are few cab companies. You have to walk one round to check the prices. They would advise you to pay by USD. but vnd is more worth :)

Normally would choose vinasun or mah ling .

It will always better rates in VN than SG. Taxi fare is always in VND as the meter shows VND. Unless u dun have VND then u can pay in USD.

Lobang: I booked Malaysia Airlines to Saigon for S$64 all inclusive :D

So now here's the question: I used to have bookmarks of Vietnamese tour agency website. Rates are quite decent compared to bigger sites like viator, etc. But I have lost the URLs when my comp died.

Anyone can share some local tour agency website? Reputable ones please. Thanks in advance. :)
