Hi Nic,

Is there no one handling billing issues?

I have sent an email on 01-Apr-17 to highlight overcharge on my latest invoice (Invoice INV00517156), but no one from viewqwest got back to me :(.

Last month, I have already informed and gotten confirmation that free trial freedom dns will terminate on 10-apr-17.

how come still bill me for may-17? :s11:

If I do not call up customer service, is it viewqwest will act blur and charge my credit card? :s22:

Billing already very messy and payment always collected in advance.

Now still want to overcharge me? April billing overcharge also not yet credit back to me.

Is viewqwest really so hard up for cash flow, need to collect cash in this way?
or someone sleeping on the job? :s8:

Kind of makes me regret re-contracting last Dec, seeing the quality of service dropped as compared to last time.

Can escalate this to your team?

sorry about that! I can see the case in our system - will help escalate on this :)

Our billing system is automatic, so likely the charge for Freedom DNS is because it was not removed from your account before the bill run happened. Not to worry though, our team can issue a refund in case a mistake was made.

Signed up for VQ about 2 weeks ago and just got my internet up and running. Ported over from ST Fibre BB, but still want to retain my Mio TV hence still yet to cancel my internet with ST. I know it's a frequent question in this thread but can I just confirm that Mio TV w/o internet from ST can only be delivered through phone line? Really keen on keeping my Mio TV.

How do you claim the $100 discount off router for new signup? Anyone know? There is no voucher code or anything given.

The SGD100 router discount is applied when you opt for the routers listed in the sign-up form. You get SGD100 off from the retail price of the router

You do not get a physical voucher for you to buy any routers you want...you have to choose the routers listed in the sign-up form and VQ will bill you the router price together with your internet charges on the next billing cycle

For Mio TV requirement i suggest for you to check with Singtel directly in case we give you any wrong information.

Such requirement may change from time to time therefore its best to check directly with the provider.

My friend apparently thought his old router could be used and didn't opt for one during initial signup. How does he get the discount now that he wants to purchase a router?

Better check with VQ on the SGD100 router discount is applicable now if during sign-up no router selection was opted

By the way, ask him if he has received an email from VQ with service details, and if the SGD100 router discount is mentioned in the details or not

By the way, it is optional for the router purchase.... if don't want new router, can don't buy and don't get the SGD100 router discount which is intended for use with the selected router purchase

Similarly, the SGD100 Aftershock discount is also not used if not intending to buy Aftershock laptops

You can use any third party router with our services - if you want a new router you can check out the selection on our e-store https://e-store.viewqwest.com/ - subscribers also have a permanent discount for everything we have available.

Two questions on this Nic:

1. Are you guys still supplying the Zhone 2426 modem/router with new sign ups?

2. How much is the discount for subscribers? I've tried to add things to my shopping cart and all the way till checkout, but i don't see any appreciable discount anywhere.

2. If i connect my vqtv to zhone directly, i cant control my androidtv with my phone because it's not on the same network. any solution?

3. The vqtv WiFi cant seem to be on and can only be connected through Lan and i was told that the new zhone has got digital TV signal but my zhone does not have the coaxial outlet in contrast to the manual.

Welcome aboard!

1. Connect directly to the Zhone - if you connect to your router you'll be limited to just 1Gbps - by connecting to multiple ports, total bandwidth for all devices can exceed 1Gbps.

2. Yes you can because it is on the same network :) That's the key benefit of 2Gbps Single Network - since the Zhone acts as the primary router and uses a single static IP - everything is on the same network.

3. For digital TV on the new VQ TV the outlets are on the back of the VQ TV (not the Zhone). You'll need an antennae though.

1. No - nowadays we supply the 2424a for Zhone.

2. It's 8% off the order - when you apply the discount in your cart you should see the discount amount taken off the order. You apply the code on the first page of checkout (right hand side on desktop - for mobile you need to click cart details to see the discount input field). Hi EehgNik,

Can you help to check if your router is configured to AP mode or is it under another subnet under router mode?

If it is on different subnet there is a possibility that your device can't detect one another.

For the wifi of the VQTV box you need to enable it via setting by clicking on the network icon.
