Personally not so concerned about static ip. Cgnat comes with it's own set of problems especially reliability & security based on what i read online.

There was a scheduled maintenance today from 1-5am and the email says they will inform us when it is available. Till now there are no email from them and I can't access. Unable to call through as well...

Update: after the maintenance, they forgot to assign me an IP. So if anyone encounter this - u will need to try your best to call in. (Manage to get through after 2 hrs)

I had to swop out my ONU this morning as instructed and after that I noticed that I no longer have a static IP address. Anyone noticing this as well?

Log in to the webconsole of the ONU (192.168.1.1). You can see it from there.

fyi.. The ONU configuration will show as DHCP. But your IP address will be fixed. Do a whatsmyip.com. Your IP address should still be the same as before.

Already checked on this. My public IP matches the DHCP address shown on the ONU. Now beginning the long tedious wait to talk to their agent. Even my digital voice line also not working.

Did you had to replace your ONU this morning after their 1 to 4am maintenance?

Also had minor issues to after post-migration. Like yours, one of it is digital voice not working. The other was freedom vpn.

It was quickly resolved when I managed to connect to a technical agent.

You should test it out. This is to confirm that the IP address is uniquely assigned to you and they don't "misconfigure" or "cheat". Maybe one of the nights, turn it off. Then turn it back on in the morning.
