It's at the accelerator side, a red button.

Turn the key, alarm will ring, insert key and set to ON (or was it ACC) then press the button.

Maybe something triggered the alarm, like a loose door sensor. That time my door sensor was faulty, while driving, my hazard will flicker on and off. Maybe same for yours.

thanks for quick response

1. if its a stock vios, if someone is to open the car door forcefully, would it trigger the alarm?
2. if the door is not closed tight, it will trigger ?

To my best of knowledge, which I never try before...

1. Unless it's damn forceful trying to break in or something, else I don't think so.
2. Yes it will, if you tried to lock it while the door is open.

car vios good or not bad?

The price has dropped to about $73,800 for the basic model if I recall correctly.

At this price, it is still higher than about $69,800 that was on offer last year. However, at current COE this is a reasonable price for the car.

If not, you can consider Honda Fit (cheaper) or Shuttle (about same price).

There's a code name for the models.

NCP42 - the older older before 2007

NCP93 (aka Belta) - the ones looking like beetle (front)

NCP150 - new gen vios after Belta

NCP151 - current gen

It only matters if you go outside buy parts yourself. Cos shops refer by model code name if not you have to drive down for them to make sure.

I call ric tat, I ask for drum shoes they ask me which model I tell them ncp93. You tell them year 20xx they where dare to commit...
