3/4 full or 3/4 empty? I recall i didn't have this problem in the past so don't think its normal.

No harm changing fuel pump/filter since it's 11 yrs old.

Check your air filter as well, time for a change? During hot days, acceleration may feel sluggish as well - esp for stock ride where air intake is within the engine bay.

There are many factors affecting throttle response, are there any other symptoms pointing to fuel pump/filter fault?

thanks for the suggestions. My symptom is quite specific, the accelaration is only sluggish when fuel is low at about quarter tank, regardless of weather condition. Air filter is new. I'll observe further but from what I read online, fuel pump seems likely to be weak already.

new owner to ncp93 2010. Have some questions.
Is 120k mileage requires major servicing?
Cold start sometimes will hear screeching noise which i think it's probably the fan belt old. Can recommend any place to replace this part and water pump as well?

Thanks

By right it should be a major servicing. If you're unsure of its servicing history, do get an assessment before you decide. Of cuz workshops will tell you to change this and that, the more the merrier. If unsure, you may ask for advice.

If you want to lower cost, can try JB workshop. 100k+ liao good to do an ATF change, coolant flush and brake oil change if haven't done yet. Especially if you don't know when was the last change.

Additional to the ATF, coolant and brake fluid change, equally important also are engine oil, air filter , cabin filter and spark plug change.

Water pump leakage?

Belt screeching noise, can be belt or auto tensional gone case liao.

All the above, go to your trusted workshop or if you keen to explore JB, refer to thread below..
