I call ric tat, I ask for drum shoes they ask me which model I tell them ncp93. You tell them year 20xx they where dare to commit...

My car when come to a stop at traffic light will have some knocking sound at the rear. Is it due to suspension?

Next time when you near your ride, take photo of the car VIN plate. VIN plate should be either on the side of the doors or at the engine bay area.
Online parts stockist may ask you for that. By far, that is the most accurate.

Most old timer stockist in Singapore can tell when you said vehicle model name and model year. lolz

1. Strut Bar ... front & rear bottom (rear axle) or front & rear top (Absorber mount)
2. Lowered spring ... Triple S or Tanabe or some other brand.

Neither.

If you want a stable ride, you don't need anything additional/modified.

Going to start driving Grab on my 2 year old Vios NCP151.
Will be expecting high mileage now that I start driving Grab, so wanted to ask if I still need to stick to the 10000km minor servicing and 20000km major servicing frequency? If so, I estimated that I need to service my car almost every month

Been going to BM for the past few servicing, but they seemed too expensive for Grab servicing due to the high frequency. Anyone has workshop recommendations for me? Thanks!!

1. Follow your mileage, you should expect to service the car once every 2 months or so, and change new tyres every 4-5 months or so.

2. You need to find a cheaper workshop, BM will bleed you dry. If no major issues, just do simple oil change every 10K. Shouldn't cost you more than $50-80.

3. Start saving for wear&tear - suspension, cleaning and damages.

Not advisable to go on lowering springs. You're not in control of your ride height and will be scrapping the humps or roads at some places.

I'm on coilovers, front strut and rear anti-roll bar. Some comfort is definitely lost, but have gotten used to this.

Hmmm, let’s say I change tyres every 4 months, means 3 new sets of tyres a year
Plus oil change every month
Plus I dunno what else, maybe brake pads etc

Means I need save at least $10 a day into my car maintenance fund.....

You have not included other wear and tear such as bearings, suspension and air-con compressor. $20 a day to be conservative.
