Apply Visa at least first.... at least 2 months in advance... mine have to wait an agonising 37days for mine to approved!

Nothing much to share, just follow the instructions in the app, take photo and fill in the information then scan passport and pay money. Its quite simple and straightforward.

i dont know.
do they state the reason?
they just send automated email informing me to apply manually and provide additional documents...

after spending 30min filling up Visitor Visa (600), processing fees are AUD 150.
ok change of plans.

yes... kanna referred to for further processing which basically ask me for the same details i submitted in the ETA.. just some additional commentary on why i going AU and whats my current job... and asked me to upload passport and NRIC copies.

did you have to pay another AUD 150 for it?

I appiled class 600 tourist visa one month already , till now still in recieved status! WTH! anyway to ask? however my friend got approved in 2 weeks...

Very common for Malaysians. My passport (sg) was approved immediate but spouse (MY) same situation as yours. I went to some AU visa forums and they mentioned MY passport need 4 weeks onwards to get approved. End up I had to cancel my flight cause can't make it in time. Regretfully, I shouldn't have bought the flight ticket before applying for the ETA. Lesson learnt. Their procedure now is unlike last time approval on the spot already.
