likewise had to postpone the flight which was originally planned for today...
its been 3.5weeks and counting... will update when i eventually get the confirmation. separate datapoint - it was approx 5 weeks before a mate got his approval.

Sure! Some additional docs:
1. Certifying place of residence/citizenship
2. Confirming Employment details/tenure
3. Validating Financial standing - banking relationships/statements and proof of financial ability to support the trip
4. Declaring Family/dependent details

The interesting thing is ive held resident return visas over the years but PR lapsed some years back. I reckon the due diligence is needed since my new passport isn't in the record, as was the older albeit now expired passports. So it's true, lesson learnt to ensure at least 1 month buffer to have your ETA sorted prior to the planned departure date.

Sorry to hear. 5.5weeks and counting... Im afraid there will be others looking forward to the upcoming school holidays only to be disappointed if the application wasn't lodged more than a month back.

Due to this Visa issue, we have to spend $1k to $2k to reschedule our whole trip. Totally ridiculous and frustrating.:cry:

As additional data point, while mine is still pending, my folks had their ETA applications lodged earlier this week and approved in 10minutes (for the avoidance of doubt, same nationality).
I'm wondering if any others have had similar almost-instant approvals.

I guess they are >60? Those over 60 will get instant approval (less likely to overstay based on statistics)

Hi, can check anyone recently applied or approved 601 AU visa?

If so, can share how long it took? I have 2x adults (both 30s) and 2x children (both below 6) and all are SG citizens.

Thanks!
