Activated new Vivifi SIM card on 25 June. Port in successfully on 28 Jun.

When I enter the credit card number during registration, there was no OTP page and the card was accepted (the same credit card was used for another Vivifi SIM).

But till now the first bill still not charged to my credit card. Is this normal ? The line is still working.

The bill will come out around mid-month (for you it's mid-July); your first debiting for your first bill should take place on the evening of 28 July.

Thanks.

Surprised it is not billed in advance like the others. Was kind of worried there is problem with deduction and line gets cut.

I was thinking like you earlier on. To be sure, just log in to the portal and make sure your credit/debit card details are captured correctly. Then just wait. For me, the debiting took place late at night on the 28th. The first bill amount includes the first pro-rated month and billing for the next full month.

Quite satisfied with vivifi. I work in changi cargo area, and my speed test is between 25-55 mbps. depending if i'm indoors or outdoors.
As comparision, Myrepublic (using M1 network) give a miserable 1.0 to 8.7mbps. seriously, 1mbps??
Gonna convert all to vivifi.

It's been > 1 month after I switched from Sinktel Combo to Vivifi Plus. Here are the observations.

  1. Reception works fine. No noticed difference from Sinktel last time.
  2. Speedtest yields 20 Mbps to 100 Mbps, depending on locations and time of the day.
  3. Billing and debiting from card no issue (so far).
  4. No issues in receiving OTPs for banking, insurance etc. In fact, the OTPs seem to arrive a little bit faster.
  5. So far, the data usage logged on their portal as compared to my handphone data usage reconciles to the T.

I just registered for Lite plan from M1. Now waiting for port in process from M1. Hopefully everything will be smooth process. Will update here if I have any problem for the future user!

Reason why vivifi:

1. Singtel network
2. Offer lite package for less than $10
3. Free registration (I couldn't find provider offering less than $10 plan with free registration and zero deposit up front)
I've just completed my porting process from M1 to Vivifi.

So far no issues, all working correctly even for OTPs.
Internet is faster compared to M1 in all places that I go
I think for those who from different line can port over to Vivifi with confident

Hi existing users, I have a question about unlimited basic internet speeds of $9.90 Vivifi plus plan, is it really 256 kbps or you can get higher speeds after 6gb is used up???

it is really 256 kbps, as stated... Instagram cannot work smoothly.. FB is delayed, but bearable... Youtube can only watch in 240pixels... 360 pixels will need to buffer also at times...

My Vivifi cannot call 1767 (SOS new number), call will immediately dropped. But others like Starhub 1633 no problem.

Is this a Vivifi problem? Or is it again my problem?

I joined a company and wanted to port my vivifi number back to Singtel. Singtel is telling me can’t be done cos it’s within Singtel. Makes no sense but does anyone have an idea?

Agreement with Vivifi not to poach customers. Nothing you can do. Just port to MR or Giga for $10 and then port to SingTel unless you have 3-4 weeks to engage IMDA

Well, talking to SingTel is like talking to some government official where they think they always right. If you don’t work along SingTel rules, then you go around their rules by porting out to other non-ST based telco and port back in again.

One may make noise to IMDA provided you want to spend that energy and time.

Actually with Singtel, u can always quote the number portability rule by imda.

U tell them your voice convo is always recorded as u mention at the start, u sure u want to tell me I cannot port in? Confirm? What's your full name ,I'm asking so that this con can be traced back properly. I'm recording down the start and end time and date of this convo so that it can be retrieved. If u confirm telling me vivifi and Singtel is the same company and I cannot port in , I will write in to imda and they will investigate, for refusal of an mandated service and possiblity market manipulation.
I ask you again, can I port in or not?

Wow. Power !

Just that pity the customer service officer. They have to carry out stupid policies set by management.
