I was on ZYM at Taylor Swift concert. 4bar but no internet. My friend on M1 apparently still can video call out and browse instagram. I got annoyed by ZYM cos of the patchy signal even around my house area. Ported out to SIMBA yesterday, almost killed myself. Consistent download speed of 1-2mbps. Bth just decided to port back to VIVIFI

i actually did so by getting simba as my sec line for data because in train tunnel it is so congested on my 4g vivifi singtel. like some sort of network deprioritized. to my surprise simba 4g is much better.

Vivifi is the worst, my family used a share plan. Nightmare comes when trying to port out, their slow reply, reluctant from assisting, keep dodging here and there, not assisting for a smooth port out. Wah, guys if sign up, don't go for family plan. Alacarte still the best
think someone shared before the family plan when wanna port out is not as straightforward. thats the cons of it.

Oh boy. I signed up for the family plan a couple of months back. So far so good, but no Shared Booster, even though their website claim they offer it.

Hopefully not porting out anytime soon, but curious how to port out when the time comes. Any tips to share?

port out is straight forward same as any other line?
as long the owner name and info is enter correctly on the new provider

during the recent outage, port out submitted on friday evening, completed by the new provider on sat morning

porting these day is standard process as long info is correctly input

Vivifi did not deduct the bill payment for 25th April. I made an inquiry and they replied with the following:

Dear customer,

There is currently a bug that causes VIVIFI to skip the deduction randomly for some customers. We arestill attempting to fix the problem. No worries though, VIVIFI does not currently charge any late fees or interest. You may still make the payment by logging in to your account and paying manually, as follows: Manual payment using PayNow or saved credit/debit card – VIVIFI

VIVIFI Payments

Just in case some of you might be in same situation as me.

Stay Connected Seamlessly with VIVIFI!

As the digital landscape evolves, so does your connectivity. With the imminent shutdown of Singapore 3G networks, it's crucial to ensure your device is prepared for the transition to 4G and 5G technology.

After 31 July 2024, you will not be able to use a 3G mobile phone with your existing VIVIFI SIM card/e-SIM.
If you use a 4G non-VoLTE mobile phone, you will not be able to make or receive mobile calls.

VIVIFI is Ready.
  • No need to change SIM Card / e-SIM
VoLTE* will be enabled automatically upon 3G shutdown. Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) offers mobile voice call via the LTE/4G mobile network

✅ Always Connected using 4G/5G with VoLTE Compatibility Mobile Phone

What do you need to do?

#1
- Check if your mobile phone is in the recommended mobile phone list. If so, you are good to go.
Otherwise, please help to work on #2 and #3.
#2 - You see a 3G or H+ network bar in the top-right corner of your mobile phone screen all the time. Please get a 4G mobile phone with VoLTE.
#3 - Verify that your 4G mobile phone supports VoLTE. You can find this option in your phone's mobile network settings. It is defaulted to use VoLTE for some newer 4G/5G mobile phones. Otherwise, please get a 4G mobile phone with VoLTE.

The list of supported phones seems to mirror that of ZYM and Zero1.

Looks like SingTel is doing the provisioning for all its MVNOs so they are based on the same list of supported phones. Btw why they skip Google 6 series ah?

5 and 6 were skipped. This is interesting
Probably carrier incompatibility?

I'm also a bit surprised 6a is skipped. Shucks for me cos that's my work phone.
