Was your original plan the 6Gb Plus plan?

yes :p

if they don't allow... people can still port out and port in back for the 9gb plan.

this is wonder why giga don't allow existing customer to switch to the pop plan

Apparently, it isn't automatic.

I emailed Vivifi this morning to request for the change. They replied, verified my details and request, and settled it. So happens that today is one of the dates for plan change to take place.

The price adjustment will be reflected in my next bill while the plan change will be updated on my profile within the next 3 to 5 working days.

Hope that helps!

Edit: I just checked my profile on the website. It's already been updated to the new 9Gb Plus. Yay 🙂👍
Hi, my niece has one line on the Vivifi plus 6GB at $9.98 for first 12 months.

So just need to email them to say want to change to this latest pricing ?

"Verified my details and request" means what ah ?

Yeah submit a request via their website. They will follow up with you accordingly.

I like how Vivifi always lets their customers "upgrade" to newer promotions and not lock them behind "for new customers only". I went from $9.98 to $8.50 to $10.90 and now to $9 over the span of 1 year.

Alamak. I help my niece submit request on vivifi website. But the email I entered is her usual email and not the one she use for vivifi.

Does it matter ?

The $10.90 is the promo 8Gb Plus Plan for 12 months.

I did not know could change previously.

But glad to apply for change now because the $9.98 was for first 12 mths only. This $9 is forever.

It doesn't matter coz Vivifi team will ask you questions to verify the account and your request such as:

1. Email add used to register under this Vivifi number.
2. Vivifi number.
3. Date of issue for the NRIC used for this account.
4. Current Plan.
5. Plan to change to.

I think he meant entering the wrong email at 1 when it came to verifying. But it probably doesn't matter, at most request fails and his niece can request it herself this time.

As crystalnox said, I think it's very nice of Vivifi to allow a change to their new plans for existing customers upon request.

If I recall, the Big 3 wouldn't be so reasonable. I was with Giga for 1.5 years, and even they wouldn't allow it.

Great. Was thinking whether to resubmit but was afraid it would cause more confusion.

I am in the same situation as crystalnox. We changed from the promo $10.90 plan to the new $9 forever. Yes, it's a lateral movement within the same base Plus Plan.
