i dont use that line .. no issue on EW line usually maybe some blind spotKind agree with Elvin... always in radio app.... Vivifi will drop the signal along the longer track at Botanic garden....while tpg doesn't have the issue
Correct. I think circle line and downtown line got some issue. I don’t know whyKind agree with Elvin... always in radio app.... Vivifi will drop the signal along the longer track at Botanic garden....while tpg doesn't have the issue
you can report to vivifi on the connectivity issues at the stations you are encountering they can feedback to singtel. I believe it will be the same for other MVNO for singtel.Correct. I think circle line and downtown line got some issue. I don’t know why
Yup, has been getting worse these pass few months, although I suspect it's just due to the sheer amount of people out and about now. I get the same issue along some sections of the NS line during peak, full signal but not loading.I find vivifi getting slower already. In mrt simply cannot surf.
Yep. We were testing the network while many were still WFH, so the load isn't severe.Yup, has been getting worse these pass few months, although I suspect it's just due to the sheer amount of people out and about now. Same for ZYM.Yup, has been getting worse these pass few months, although I suspect it's just due to the sheer amount of people out and about now. I get the same issue along some sections of the NS line during peak, full signal but not loading.
Yeah. Just saw SIM only plans. They are clearly favouring the 5G plans and trying to hook customers onboard.

seems like this sim only plus 45 is only 30 for 1st 6mths and last 6mths is 45.Yeah. Just saw SIM only plans. They are clearly favouring the 5G plans and trying to hook customers onboard.

Yep. That's how they draw people in.seems like this sim only plus 45 is only 30 for 1st 6mths and last 6mths is 45.
But the fact remains that there is no application that needs or works significantly better with 5G. Maybe a slightly better ping time for games right now, but it's not going to suddenly make you much better at MLBB or Fortnite.Same for ZYM.
But again, Heya is far worse.
Brainwashing for 5GNR upgrade by the Big Three underway, especially when SingTel alr reach 95% outdoor coverage.
Well, since they can't convince you that 5G is a necessity, they will do the next best thing: Reduce the performance for 3G/4G networks to a level where it's unbearably slow, showing the "5G prowess".But the fact remains that there is no application that needs or works significantly better with 5G. It's all a marketing gimmick for now

This story happened before and it will happen again.
Which, from the main telcos(MNO) point of view, provides customers a very attractive benefit of subscribing under them directly instead of from an MVNO where their ARPU is definitely lower.most MVNO are only 4G... if telco reduce 4G performance all MVNO is gone

That & a clearly aggressive push to sell 4G bandwidth to MVNOs, making it more congested.Well, since they can't convince you that 5G is a necessity, they will do the next best thing: Reduce the performance for 3G/4G networks to a level where it's unbearably slow, showing the "5G prowess".

Only for the fanbois. I'm happy to move off to other telcos & MVNOs that will provide a service that is turning out to be superior while at a fraction of the cost.Which, from the main telcos(MNO) point of view, provides customers a very attractive benefit of subscribing under them directly instead of from an MVNO where their ARPU is definitely lower.
They even launch the heya to compete themselves directly lol. That & a clearly aggressive push to sell 4G bandwidth to MVNOs, making it more congested.
I guess the Singtel fanbois are happy to continue to pay more for what they don't need, & I'll continue to profit off them when Singtel pays out dividends. Win-win!
Lol $8k buy index fund can already at least get 2x of that. They even launch the heya to compete themselves directly lol.
Assuming $0.07/share of dividend per year, and subscribe to $18 SIM Only plans from MVNO per month.
18*12 / 0.07 = 3085.714
That's the number of shares required to break even.
Rounding down to 3000 shares (hopefully a much higher dividend this year compared to last year's 6.9 cents), you need approximately $8000 capital upfront to purchase.
If you can cough out $8k, assuming no change in share price etc, you're basically golden.
Huh source?Lol $8k buy index fund can already at least get 2x of that.
