I keyed in the Promo code and it say Successfully applied.
Keyed in referral code next and seemed like no problem.
Then I was taken to the number port in page and that's it.

For port in request Sim is not activated by default... After port in sim will work...

You will need to activate the sim on the website follow the details with the sim card

If termination/ port out is triggered before a minimum stay of 2 issued bills, you will also be charged a subscription fee for the remaining months.
