Can you sideload it? Like using Headunit reloaded? Hesitant to buy it because I need Android Auto.Only downside is the lack of location history/timeline and android auto (probably will be available with future updates).
Was there a good deal for 1TB?Bit the bullet and bought a 1tb version with CN rom. All working fine after some tweaks and it's so smooth as compared to my other phone, s24u.

Got it off carousell for $1050, worth the savings over the global set I guess.H

Nope you can't cause it apparently lacks some google framework for AA and location history to work. But the x100 series are getting AA so x200 series should be getting AA in future updates too, just got to be patient. Can you sideload it? Like using Headunit reloaded? I read that funtouch os isnt as smooth as origin hence not getting the global version.
Thanks for sharing your experience.Got it off carousell for $1050, worth the savings over the global set I guess.

Most of the Chinese apps can be uninstalled so the phone is almost 85% stock though there are still some Chinese stuff lingering around but nothing major.
The phone definitely feels more refreshing and smoother than my s24u.
Yup definitely worth if heavy user, global rom cost about 1.2-1.3+ for 512 liao. Probably can wait for android auto update, if not mistaken vivo x fold 3 pro has it eventually , x100 pro not sure coz sold the phone quite fastGot it off carousell for $1050, worth the savings over the global set I guess.

any issue with singpass, grab, foodpanda?Bit the bullet and bought a 1tb version with CN rom. All working fine after some tweaks and it's so smooth as compared to my other phone, s24u.

China ROM version uses OriginOS and is "geared" for the Chinese market, but IS still totally usable around the world. As of right now, it doesn't have Android Auto connectivity either. Some things in the phone will show up totally in Chinese (like swipe right for news feed (pictured below), among a few other things. OriginOS is a more polished OS, and I'm using my China ROM x100 Pro in theany issue with singpass, grab, foodpanda?
Not really, I've used both funtouch and originos before. OriginOS no doubt is more customizable and has more features, Funtouch is more stable and has less bugs/much smoother in my experience. It's about dollar and cents and what kinda compromise you can accept. Funtouch also receive faster updates than originos ie android 15 was pushed to funtouch way faster than origin as wellChina ROM version uses OriginOS and is "geared" for the Chinese market, but IS still totally usable around the world. The price is way less expensive than the global version. The global version uses FuntouchOS, and is less polished. Android Auto should work without any issues, and everything should be in English. Also, "Hey Google" should work too. Price for the global version is WAY more expensive!![]()

Saw rhe comparison between origin and funtouch on youtube. Funtouch is so much more bland and cant customize much. Customisation is one of the best part of going Android. Not really, I've used both funtouch and originos before.
