When the light is not ideal, e.g. indoor or evening time, the zoomed pics beyond 5x look like water painting. Esp the faces of people.
Fx8p telephoto cameras are 3x and 6x. Best digital zoom image quality is multiple of 3 or 6.

I think the phone may use digital zoom of the main camera in low light. Look at the aperture f number of the photo. F1.6 are main camera while telephoto cameras are f2.6 and f4.3.

Try to disable the telephoto auto switch to digital zoom of main camera in low light option if available in camera app settings to force use of the telephoto cameras in low light.

I'd think flare is a lend design n coating issue.

All these processing also means removing part of the details captured
That is why the auto flare removal is an option in settings. Many of the reviewers said to take photo from other angle or use hand to block the light source.

Expensive DSLR camera lenses also have flares issues with strong light from the sides. That is why comes with lens hood to block light from the side.

For flare issue, new updates from Vivo to include new function to reduce flare when taking photo, or post process with Ai erase to remove the flare affected photo. Good move from Vivo.

12.12 I bought a Vivo X200 Pro, 12GB +256GB from Laz @ $814, received on 17th Dec. So far so good.

Phone Clone from Huawei phone, separate backup and restore Whatsapp chat history and media files = OK!
Activate the Google Support from setting, Download Google Playstore = OK!
Deleted all chinese apps, and unchecked all the ads suggestion = OK! Save battery life alot!
Did the firmware update, to include flare remover function and Ai erase for post processing = OK!
Downloaded Grab apps, Facebook, Google Map, Chrome browser and bank apps = OK!
Camera = GOOD!

Problems faced
1. Whatsapps Notification (someone posted the solution in page 7 of this forum), haven't try out if it is working. will try tonight, Let me know if anyone tried it.
2. Mail apps, I have problem to login with my yahoo and gmail. always give error for wrong login username and password. This is the known problem, I read and tried few solutions suggested online, none works thus far. Temporarily use Yahoo mail apps and Gmail apps separately.

For transport , you just have to wake the phone up to tap. Don't have to unlock to tap for transport.

Recent leaks from Digital Chat Station on Weibo have revealed several key details about the upcoming device including its processor, cameras, and more.

According to the leaks, the Vivo X200 will be powered by MediaTek's upcoming Dimensity 9400 chipset. The display is expected to be flat with symmetrical, narrow bezels on all four sides. It is also said to have a panel with 1.5K resolution.

As for the camera, the phone will reportedly include three 50MP sensors on the rear, including a main camera with a Sony sensor and a telephoto camera that has a 3x periscope zoom lens. Additionally, the device will also likely feature the latest version of Vivo’s self-developed imaging chip to enhance photography capabilities.

Good brand.

I am using this brand but it's not a top of the line model. But it does everything that I need to do, and does it well enough.
