Vpost lost my packages ordered from Amazon worth over $600 and only offered to compensate $60.

They dont seem to track their packages at all. I have to call them to find out why my packages were stuck at Packages Paid for a whole month. They said they will call back, but they never did, until I demanded to speak to the supervisor, twice. Only then they had a look and couldnt find the packages.

That's all the explanation I received.

I had to call them over and over again, and until I spoke to the manager, only then I received a standard template email telling me I will only get $60.

Vpost is sloppy and unreliable. Standards of Singpost have fallen dramatically.

my borderlinx measurement also screwed up. they just round up the inches measurement and not cm. as we know inches is bigger than cm (like 1cm but inches is 1 inch) that kind... which is > 1cm. so it really sucks when actual weight is like 3kg and kena charged 14kg for volumetric weight is already pissed off and to have them rounding up the inches to derive 14kg instead of 13kg+ is really pissing people off

On the other hand, i ship from UK in pallets. I'm doing sea freight, takes about 2 months but alot cheaper.
If anybody wants to share with me let me know.
1 Pallet about 50 cubic feet, is about £420. (After discount, as i'm using my company's account)
Additional 25 cubic feet at £200.

If you use Vpost/DHL/Fedex, i was quoted S$2500 at least.

It will be sent to my home which you have to pay for local delivery which i don't think will be exp.

The only draw back is it will take DAMMN LONG, at least 2 months.

Prices quotes are without insurances and GST. It's priced that the items are sent to the warehouse. Can arrange for door to door to pick up as well, but additonal charges will apply.

Take note i will not be responsible for any complications though.

i received alot of queries, there's alot of businessmen here.
Some ordering one whole pallet of branded shoes, some vacuum, some art pieces, some
furniture ,etc.

Take note only message me if you have a 50cubic ft pallet.
Please indicate what's in the shipment, to avoid confusion, try to be from the same vendor if possible, it won't be me charging or me handling.
So bear your own risk.

When you used the Borderlinx service aren't you aware there is volumetric weight issue?

I thought this issue has been addressed before. Which is why one needs to be careful if their purchase comes with big box. If you are lucky, you maybe able to get sellers to reduce their packaging to the minimal before sending to borderlinx. But most of such sellers are independent or personal sellers. There are alot of cases where sellers especiallly those from the more reputable online store are unable to reduce the size of the box. So one needs to consider size of the packaging before using such shipping services.

CGW, also has volumetric weight calculation which you have to factor in when using their service. But I think they have repackaging services which one had to pay if one wants to repack.

if you want to buy just an item alone, borderlinx is the best choice. CGW has base weight charge, while borderlinx is by per weight. CGW will cost more if you order just an item

Edited After doing a feedback with the Customer Officer Officer, it is the Custom Law at California at fault.
They do not allow anything with speaker to be shipped.

You are wrong..I just ordered 7 pcs of speakers from Vanns as well by using CGW. They have created hell a lot of problems for me. One of my speaker still stuck at the US office now and apparently the GST was calcuated wrongly but nobody inform me and they just keep quiet. I have written tons of emails to ask the status and nobody response. Even I used the stupid chat line and the idiot CSO kept promising me it is on the way. Until I really pissed off then called their Shenton Way office. Wasted a day to sort out with them then found out they holding it because of the GST was computed wrongly. When they revised the figure and insisted I should pay for it before they will release the goods. I have no choice but to make another payment and i ask for detail breakdown. To my surpirse, they made another error by charging me full without deducting the payment I have made previously. Then i called again and they amitted and promised to refund. When the sent me the revised bill, another error occur which they happily increase the chargeable weight of the item. I tell you, i almost vomited blood when deal with these bunch of jokers.

The worst one are the 6 identical speakers packages I get them to repack. The speaker are basically identical and in the same packaging box. However, one of package, they somehow charge 2kg more after repack. I asked them why there was different charges for the same identical packages, the stupid CSO told me after repacking, they got not enough box but used a slightly bigger box for shipping which resulting one of the package is 2 kg more than others. When i received my package yesterday, they only repacked by taking out the Vanns packing box and use back the original manufacturer box. All six boxes are the same sizes and weights. I took picture of the 6 packages and email them and awaiting their reply.

You should ask for their detail breakdown of how they compute their tax charges. All the published rate such as 0.65% insurance becomes 1% and the shipping rate per kg also increased for GST calculation as they are using DHL rate and not their published rate, so you will never ever get the 7% GST but more. And also, don't ever trust their prime rate of so called up to 15%. Ask them to show you how the discount come in.

And please don't use the express service by paying more. The shipping time is the same for standard and express.

That's terrible. How did vpost lost the package? I had purchased from Amazon before and had it send to a friend who lives there who help to post to me by normal post since the Amazon seller there do not post oversea.
