Hi guys, it's been a while since I got a new TV. Went to have a look at Courts yesterday and the salesman said that Samsung doesn't provide free wall mount but LG does. Gotta pay $99 for installing samsung TV wall mount - is this true? All along I thought wall mount is included foc, regardless of brands.

U can remove it urself. Wall anchors are a pain remove. The more ex kinds can unscrew. The rest u need to use a chisel and wack the wall till the hole big enough to pry the anchor out. After that u go buy wall putty from hardware store, full the hole and then paint over after the putty dries

if your tv area don't have feature wall to hide cables, u need to diy. just get a small size trunking from handy man shop. Use 3M double side tape to stick, the medium strength or strong one. if u want it very straight, use a water ruler to measure.

Wall mount TV to feature wall

Hello!

I got a wall mount for free from my friend. Both of our TVs are 49 inches.

The TV itself is ard 12-13kg.

I wish to mount it to my feature wall (plywood) for my BTO.

Are there special way of mounting it?

I doubt there is any stud for the feature wall.

On the box, it should be stated the weight and the size of the TV the mount can hold. So long as it is within these parameters, it should hold.

When I did my feature wall, I requested my contractor to add in more supports and use a slightly thicker plywood.

I didn't see any studs when the installer is installing the mount; just normal screws. He even assured me that the wood would hold my 55 inches and he did advised customers before not to mount when he feel the wall is lacking supports. So good to check with the installer if you are engaging one, the experienced ones should be able to tell.

Typically the TV companies will do it for you, why not ask the sales rep to get you one?
