Thanks xinng7.

I wished they would stop it with the Space Marines and give more love and attention to the other races.

My collection of GW Limited Edition minis so far...

I've around 50 plus currently. These minis came from limited edition army boxset, Games Days, Black Library exclusives, Promotion campaigns or special events. Some of the rare minis include Legion of the Damned Sergeant Centurius (Blister), Malus Darkblade on foot (Blister), Games Day 97 Ork Nob (blister), Games Day 99 SM Captain (blister), The SM Veteran Sergeant from the SM Army boxset, The Iowa Jima Diorama, The Blood Angels Cloten & Lysander from Blood Quest, Sister of Battle Ephrael Stern & Inqusitor Silas Hand & many others.

Still lack of around 20 plus minis.

GW has recently stopped these Limited Edition minis. Now they only have exclusive minis which can be bought from their online store.

Here's a better pic of the LE minis.

hard to make money.

TableTop if u ask me.. while is very old and nice.. but seriously how can it attract people to play when

1. Fairly expensive
2. Table-top game is like BOARDGAMES.. its a dying thing.. while many are still out there playing.. but digital age is here and already superseed it.
3. TIME

So if u ask me.. i say somehow if table-top can come out with something innovative.. not otherwise its gonna pretty remain much as a "enthusiast hobby" :p

actually i talked to the staff and in charge over there... you will be suprised that the shop is actually making a profit... u shld see those rich kids come in and just point and their parents take out card to swip for them.

But the sad things is that while I know my painting is crap, theirs is even worst... feel sorry for the models... just take black spray paint and spray all over the model... make sure got 3 colours to play there...

iirc they pulled out cos GW decided that in a whole(SEAsia), its losing money or something.

Still remember someone come in and hooted 2500 points worth of grey knights... and we all know grey knights dun usually come in plastic :)

My path to poverty.

I was introduced to the Warhammer game by a pilot pal of mine who passed me his entire set of Space Marines complete with a Dreadnought and a couple of tanks.
I've been impoverished ever since and am now trying to complete both a Chaos Horde (WHF) and some Taus.
It's hard to find players here in Singapore and there are few online groups so I'm always reading up on the UK and US based sites. I'm glad there's still folks who are sticking with the hobby. To me, the tabletop game gives a nice physical dimension and interaction (although some players are a bit smelly) which no onscreen experience can counter. I love the PC games too but it's sad that the dice throwers are a dying breed.

Yeah. They are all in pewter actually. I don't remember any Grey Knights being made of plastic though. If there are, please correct me.

On a side note, the current Grey Knights Terminator suit looks way cooler than the standard Space Marine Terminator suit.
