Nice paint work on those Cadians - they hold up very well even at close focus!

I find that they are quite friendly ah. I once went there to purchase a brush but didn't know which ones were good and long lasting. The gal at the counter recommended me 2 brushes of varying sizes which I bought. That was one year ago and the brush is still good to use! It still produces a very fine and sharp tip. Perfect for painting fine lines and stuff.

I, however, do not go there to play tabletop. Not my type of game.

Haha not yet man...still working at my gaming army and leveling up my painting skills first before I go to them.

Btw mind sharing what techniques you used to paint your tanks? Looks very realistic!

Haha not yet man...still working at my gaming army and leveling up my painting skills first before I go to them.

Btw mind sharing what techniques you used to paint your tanks? Looks very realistic!

Basically I painted them using the basic stuff..

1. Undercoat the whole tank using matt black spray can.

2. Drybrush the whole tank with Dark Angel green. Needed several coats.

3. Drybrush the whole tank with Catachan Green i think. Need to check the color again as i'm in the office now. Haa..

A few coats depending how 'green' u want for the look.

4. Wash the tank with very diluted Brown ink, just mix with water. The ink will flow into the edges to create the 'shadow' effect.

5. Highlight the tank using Lime Green. I use very very little paint for this.

6. Highlight the tank with Catachan Green again. Weathering of Tank is also Drybrushing.

7. The mounted Auto-Cannon, Tank Commander and other accessories are painted seperately before I glued them to the tank.

Nothing fancy really. Just a lot of dry brushing and subtle highlighting. No blending and Non-metal metal (NMM) technique involved here. Still figuring out how NMM works!

There are few SGs whom are very good. IIRC, there's a guy who even won Golden Demon before. I think his mini is a dark elf or something. Anyone know abt this?
