 Watch Series 6

Hi, as this is my purchase for Apple Watch, do you guys advise to get GPS + Celluar as I involved in sports regularly. How significant between 40mm and 44mm on a 16cm wrist? Thanks.

I gave the sizing a long thought... if don’t think much the 44mm is straight forward. Cos pricing different not a lot.

This is my first Apple Watch... and I went for the SE 40 cellular cos I think I put a Spigen Rugged Case, it would enlarge the overall look abit.

Plus for future upgrade, I would likely pass this to my kid. So I decide to start with the 40.

Den next version, decide again.

I got the apple watch in 2015, got a free upgrade to S1 when i sent in my S0 for repair under AppleCare. and then tong until 2018 when i got the S4.

Wow at least free upgrade.

I just collected my Series 6 and now doing the setup. So now I've officially retired my Series 5.

Must report on how you find the blue aluminium. I was so tempted to get it.

My blue aluminium was delivered by DHL today - it's a perfect shade of blue, not too bright, not too dark! (Check YT for a few hands-on videos).

I ordered it with the Navy Blue Sport Band and it's a perfect match.

Do share your review of the S6 based on your experience w S5.

The watch is very speedy! It’s definitely faster than my Series 5 and though watchOS 7 improved the response speed, it’s definitely faster on the Series 6 and response seems nearly instant.

Just now just tried using the blood oxygen feature and mine’s 99%. When this was activated, I just checked the LEDs behind and actually seems like red and green light up together. The elevation part of the complication is actually based on the compass.

Apart from these, the feel is exactly the same when wearing my Series 5 and improvements are all internal. Setting it up is also fast and easy as I restore from my backup, takes less than half an hr.

So far very satisfied but the improvements are not monumental comparing to Series 5.

Ordered the Blue Aluminium this morning for pickup and hope it’s a good upgrade from the S3! Probably gonna use my existing S3 for sleep tracking hehe semi retiring it.

Gotten the usual Product Red Sport Loop. Didn’t want to get the Deep Navy as I’ve already had the Midnight Blue strap from years ago.

When i try the actual loop on my wrist, it’s size 5 leh ...

So I bought with size 5. Heng didn’t buy online with size 7 ...

I came from 13.7. The whole process took around 30mins as the part where it's 'preparing' is very long.

Looks like loop is a way to help earn that bit of extra revenue for Apple for buying wrong size.
