What u mean grey scale ?

I am finding the battery in my AW6 didn’t last as long now as the first few days when i got it ... maybe it’s something that I installed like Cardiogram, BatteryPhone or pedometer++ ?

Thanks

Under Apple Watch > Accessibility > Greyscale

All colour will be gone, just in shades of grey. Supposed to reduce power consumption.

My power consumption compares exactly the same apps in Series 5 and Series 6.

I oso scaled it 100% and make sure the credit size fit. Cut it and measured as 7. But lucky went down to Apple Store to try actual thing because 5 just nice for me.

I think if you are going for the solo strap better goto Apple Store to test your strap size. Safer that way !

Not all will get it wrong like many of us here but also not all will get it correct ...

Cheers

Did you correlate it with the size on the sports band? I was not sure whether to trust the size 3 by the template, but that correlated with the measurements in cm also say size 3. The final check was with the sports band which also say size 3. So final solo strap was size 3 correct.

Getting a measuring tape to measure the wrist might be more accurate. Cause I tried measuring it, converted it on the Apple’s website and it shows size 7.

Headed to the Apple Store to try on the solo loop and gotten measured again. Turns out to be between a 7 to 8. Was given both sizes to try, and indeed, size 7 fits better.

Haha maybe the measuring tape can kope from IKEA :s13:

Not accurate for me. Despite using Apple paper (inbetween 2 and 3) and measuring tape (size 2) end up at the Apple store size 1 fits better. Size 2 still loose.

No leh, I didn’t try the sports band bcos I wasn’t interested in the sports band. I was only interested in solo band ...

Paper tape from IKEA free to kope leh. The question is don’t you all have measuring tape at home ? Go IKEA kope travelling cost and time cost more than buying it ? Wahahaha

The measuring instructions from the Apple site is accurate for me.
Measured at home but decided to go down to Apple to make double sure.
Measured in store and at home got same result.
Left the store with two braided loops and a loop band. Very happy.

normal AW is better or Nike S6 is better?:s11:

Nike has better value as you get extra watch faces and colours for your other faces. Some people may not like the straps they come with though.

The braided loops has design flaws. The clasp area did not fit fully to align with the watch frame. You can even see the clasp from a certain angle. It’s something that shouldn’t be coming out from Apple.

I think the braided loop should be priced between the solo loop and the leather link. Idk why braided cloth is priced the same as genuine leather.

Hi guys, ive a question.

Is the watch worth getting for fitness tracking if I don’t intend to get the cellular version?

short answer yes. unless you have special requirements while doing your workout outdoor without your phone.

else its for contactablity and music streaming if you dont wanna store your music offline on the watch.

FYI, I sub cellular service just to remain contactable while jogging w/o phone. safety and peace of mind but i honestly hardly use it at all. Just deactivated the service after 1+ years.

I have both Garmin Fenix 6 and AW6.

For fitness tracking for your runs, use Garmin watch is better.

AW is for fashion.

Unlike the Fenix6, AW6 cannot warn/alert you by beeping you during your run that your HR reach a critical level so that you know you should stop/slow down.

AW also cannot adjust the heart rate in beats per min for all the 5 zones. It takes your birthday to calculate the default 5 zones and u cannot adjust this 5 zones.

But if your habit is to run at night in secluded areas without bringing hp along, then security is of paramount importance then you should get AW with cellular function else get the Garmin

Same here. My price for the 44mm SS with sport band using EPP is $1057.16, from $1079.

Good point on the phone part, I don’t like carrying phone while running.

So basically the non cellular version is pretty much useless if you are running without an iPhone, yea?

I’ll check Garmin out, thanks for the recommendation!
