I just went to the website, it says the Apple Care is $139 for 2 years with each year pay $98 for incidental repair.

So it’s actually $139 + $98 ?

Turns out even though my usb hub works fine, the watch charging cable refuses to charge with it as it works with my mum’s iphone 6s charger.

Looks like time to make a trip down to the store tomorrow. Out of curiosity, instead of the 5W usb charger, if i get say the 12w, would the watch charge faster? Lol

its $139 for AC+
if you self damage the apple watch then you pay additional $98 per incident for replacement. you can claim twice a year for it.

Oic, thanks for explaining. Then the $139 is like no use, pay for support and whatnot ? Like warranty in case u got a lime set can replace ?

Come to think of it, sure pay $98 to claim new watch, right ?

It’s like paying $335 to replace with a new watch twice per year, ie wear 3 new watches in 12 months 😂

It’s like paying $237 to replace with a new watch after scratching it badly

u pay $139 for 2nd year warranty and right to claim self damage incident claim @ $98.
without AC+ you have to pay $449 per repair

Solo loop measurement

When printing the template, I think the template was for US letter. If you are printing to A4 paper, you need to scale it a bit. I did a little trail and error when scaling the print size and once the credit card could fit inside the box then that was correct size.

When measuring a really fitted size, not a comfortable fit, it actually matched exactly to the hole loop on the sports band, which for me, both register as a 3. I just got the solo loop in size 3 and it matches exactly.

So short of going down Apple store to try, you can try on a sports loop or use the template (but print and scale accordingly, and have it really tight to the skin when measuring). Then there should not need to compensate for 1-2 sizes.

Series 6 battery life (40mm)

Battery life so far is proving better than my old series 5. Its now 15 hrs of normal usage and still got 47% left.

Normally in my series 5, I'm close to around 10-20%. So much so, I was resorting to grey scale to prolong the battery life. But of course the battery had deteriorated over the year down to 92% previous capacity.

I oso scaled it 100% and make sure the credit size fit. Cut it and measured as 7. But lucky went down to Apple Store to try actual thing because 5 just nice for me.

I think if you are going for the solo strap better goto Apple Store to test your strap size. Safer that way !

Not all will get it wrong like many of us here but also not all will get it correct ...

Cheers

Getting a measuring tape to measure the wrist might be more accurate. Cause I tried measuring it, converted it on the Apple’s website and it shows size 7.

Headed to the Apple Store to try on the solo loop and gotten measured again. Turns out to be between a 7 to 8. Was given both sizes to try, and indeed, size 7 fits better.

Haha maybe the measuring tape can kope from IKEA :s13:

What u mean grey scale ?

I am finding the battery in my AW6 didn’t last as long now as the first few days when i got it ... maybe it’s something that I installed like Cardiogram, BatteryPhone or pedometer++ ?

Thanks
