Spigen has launched their Rugged Armor for the Ultra, with and without band!

The Rugged Armor without band is having a flash sale now and is going for $10 off at $29.90. Normal price $39.90!

The Rugged Armor with band is going for $49.95.

And of course i went with the one without the band to go with the Ultra’s beautiful original bands! :giggle:

Yes ytd I saw $29.90 on shopee, hooted the one without the band as well to use it with my black nomad sport band. Will use it for outdoor activities as well as ICT 😀

Saw this combo worn by a lady & got the Gshock vibe haha!

For me the cellular has proven very useful to me. You can reply SMSes/Whatsapp msgs via the on-screen keyboard. Thought needs some manoeuvring when typing but it uses machine learning to predict what you're typing. Pics wise via WhatsApp, it'll just be a blurred image, have to access phone in order to view.

I don't use Telegram, so no comments.

But WhatsApp and Messaging is possible, no? :s11:

Tbh, life and death situation, a phone call is way better than texting. As long as can make calls from watch without phone with u, thats a great plus liao

For Whatsapp for AW can try Watchchat 2 app. I paid $10 for one time purchase.

I use it mainly to login my work number whatsapp on it so I can not bring my work phone out on weekends or during lunch (It works even if the phone that you logged in with is switched OFF) so it's pretty handy.

Can see photos on it & have alot of ways to reply msgs. Voice, voice spelling, handwriting etc.. 😀

Definitely calls a lot more than messaging on watch, but I still do type on it once in a while.

Dictating is nice but it's a hit-and-miss type, especially when you're in a noisy environment. The old scribbling method is also nice.

I can use my sliding keyboard when replying a message, but yet to figure out how when I initiate a new one. Can be a pain trying to tap/type on that tiny keyboard. 😅

Possible to scribble on that small screen? 😳

Poisoned by this thread.... in a dilemma between the AWU and AW8 due to my small 6.5' wrist.

I used a AW7 but it has since been passed to my sibling. Went to Apple few weeks ago, picked up the AWU and placed on my wrist. It was too big on my first impression. The try lasted for that few seconds.

Ignited my interest in AWU after I have read this entire thread, will return to Apple for a more serious trial.

Any experience with AWU for small wrist similar to mine?

Someone who once wanted to borrow my wrist to try on a bracelet as a present remarked "why's your wrist so small?!?". That's me, I guess. But I'm a big-watch user who used to have those big Swatches and then G-Shocks.

I love my Ultra. 🥰

The poison from this thread even made me buy the APP2. 🤣

Edit: I still use my AW7 45mm to bed. So small, so... cute :o

My wrist about same size as yours. Im loving my AWU. After using for one day, i am sure you will be used to the size of AWU.

The benefits of having a bigger screen and battery life will cover up the "con" of having a larger watch quickly. I have no regret at all for my AWU. I hoot tech gadgets like nobody business, and i can proudly say that AWU is the best tech hoot of year 2022 for me
