Poisoned by this thread.... in a dilemma between the AWU and AW8 due to my small 6.5' wrist.

I used a AW7 but it has since been passed to my sibling. Went to Apple few weeks ago, picked up the AWU and placed on my wrist. It was too big on my first impression. The try lasted for that few seconds.

Ignited my interest in AWU after I have read this entire thread, will return to Apple for a more serious trial.

Any experience with AWU for small wrist similar to mine?

Once u go big you will never go back!

I saw ladies buying AWU at Apple store too! They have pretty small wrists too, her ocean band I think is 2nd last hole haha!

All rounds down to your personal preference. Do you like rugged watch?

I personally own a lot of gshock, so going for a watch size like the Ultra wasn't even a consideration hahaha!

Someone who once wanted to borrow my wrist to try on a bracelet as a present remarked "why's your wrist so small?!?". That's me, I guess. But I'm a big-watch user who used to have those big Swatches and then G-Shocks.

I love my Ultra.

The poison from this thread even made me buy the APP2.

Edit: I still use my AW7 45mm to bed. So small, so... cute

Now recently not much watch strap poison since I already got most that I am eyeing for haha! Hope Apple releases more 49mm bands for Spring 2023

I've been rocking this combo for a few days! Case-haters pls don't hate on me I am equal opportunist!

For some reason I feel clear case doesn't fit my darker colored bands like Midnight Ocean band or Black Nomad Sport band but it fits my White Ocean band pretty well (imo)

Did some serious trials at Apple earlier and realise the face size of AWU is almost similar to my current Garmin Felix. Bought it with midnight ocean. Thanks everyone

Ya just restock only. I hooted 1 more set to keep as spare... The one im using now is i order from ringke shopee, the 1 case + 1 tempered glass. I feel the dual pack is better. Once i saw restock i order another grey+transparent one

I hooted a black+clear pack & titanium+TG pack back then.

But end up selling the titanium+TG pack as the color is too dull for my liking. But kept the black+clear for self use

I can use my sliding keyboard when replying a message, but yet to figure out how when I initiate a new one. Can be a pain trying to tap/type on that tiny keyboard.


Possible to scribble on that small screen?

So have to practice typing on the tiny keyboard lor haha...

Long cannot lah, too time consuming. Moderate replies still doable.

Small wrists no problem. I'm wearing my AWU on a 6.1" wrist.

Once you go Ultra, you'll forget about AW8 liao.

Great choice! I bought mine with orange Alpine Loop but for now my combination is the same as yours.

Ya. Calling is best liao. Sometimes when i dont have my phone with me when i jog, i just call my wife to ask her if she needs me to buy anything. Else run with a 14 pro max, wah taxing for my leg muscles
