Stumbled upon Nomad's site & realize they have new Aluminum band for AW.

From pics should be lighter than SS & with a non-mirror finish. Price is same as SS band. Anyone plan to get one? 🤣

Hi friends, I remove my AWU from charger after it fully charged around 11+ pm.
This morning I saw it dropped 8% overnight from 100% to 92%
Is this normal?

currently it’s on latest watch OS.

If your cellular is on and is disconnected from your phone, then yes, it's normal.

Can hoot and tell us good or not haha! Very rugged looking! Ringke is really coming out with pretty new & unique designs! 😬
My Ringke Fusion X Guard arrived! :s12:

Just nice when my watch's in its birthday suit as it's shower time for the bumper and strap. Feels pretty comfortable using it, more so beyond my expectation. Bumper is softer where it should be, making it easier to put on. With Spigen's rugged case for my AW7, it's a real struggle.

One review I read said something like the strap not being able to latch on properly. I initially encountered that and thought mine's another lemon set. When the strap's inserted, I could feel it moving a few mm both sides, and that got into the way thus preventing the bumper from attaching properly or at all. First strange thing I saw was that the strap seemed to be made for upside-down attachment. Normally the top has 3 black spots while the bottom's middle spot's silver color? This strap had it the other way round, and that made me attach it to the Ultra from the back. Strange, right?

It being a Ringke made me take a closer look at the strap, coz I noticed it's using the no-tool-required way of attaching it to the lug, the spring type if that's what it's called. So I decided to remove the strap from the lug, and turned it around and Walah! Now it fits right, and the bumper can finally be attached properly.

We've seen "user problem", "manufacturing fault/flaw", but first time I came across "assembly noob" Whoever assembled the strap to the lug probably just did it without much thought.

So do I recommend this? Definitely, it's comfortable and the bumper's separate piece from the strap. (y)(y)

Mine too. Airplane mode. Cinema mode. End up still drop by a few % if I leave it on overnight. I think it’s normal, as my old s7 will drop more than 10% .

I normally just restart the Watch then observe the following night. So far so good.

Easiest is to turn off the watch before going to bed.

Since i don’t wear it during sleep, i let my watch battery ‘rest’ for 8 hours each day. This way my battery does not degrade as fast too.

No leh, I don’t have mobileshare subscription so it’s not on cellular. So still normal?

Then it's not. For reference, I charge to full and remove from charger at 7am, watch running on cellular and also connected to phone, listened to music for over an hr while controlling from watch, have many notifications from WhatsApp at work and at the end of the work day at 6pm+, still have around 80%.

I wear to bed one haha! Gotten used to it already 🤣
I always have my watch on when traveling, not wanting to wake up in the dark without knowing the time if I want to. So now with the AW, it's giving me the I'm-on-holiday-feel. :ROFLMAO:

Anyway, with the better battery life in the Ultra, I'm glad that I don't have to worry about saving it whenever I decide to stay out overnight. (y)(y)

Ya, with the AC+ already bought, I charge every morning even when it's 85%. :ROFLMAO:

Ok just another test. I charged my AWU to 100% last night and removed from charger at 11:50pm, left overnight with cellular and wifi turned off, woke up at 7am and it's still at 100%.

So yup, definitely not normal for your case.

Which faces and complications are you guys using these days?

I like dark background, so it's Utility with Duffy (steps), Battery, and Weather, since it allows a max of 3 complications though the date's allowed on the inside-right.

This's my latest, done this morning. Always looking for something better, thus checking with Ultramen here.

I mainly use Wayfinder and sometimes Modular Duo and Astronomy. My favourite complications are Carrot Weather, Pedometer and Activity.
