my house is going to have HIP soon, thinking to change my current mistral instant water heater.

Because the HDB is a old model 30 yrs liao 4 room NG, if can install the storage type or continue with the instant heater.

If i were to continue using the instant heater, I will need the heater to have a variable adjustable control for the temperature. My current mistral model kind of suxky as it only have 1 , 2 and 3. 1 is still cold and 2 become quite hot to shower liao and 3 is unusable(too hot).

Any one has any brand can recommend me ?

I think my house water pressure is not very good also. Not sure how to fix
Because When I travel oversea to Taiwan or Japan , I stay in their homestay their water heater pressure is twice the power of my house one.

I have a spare storage heater removed after changing to those instant one. Has clean it up and put in store room for sometime. Think is 5 gallons capacity.
Anyone interested pls pm me and collect it for free. You need to get someone to install it. Was using it for about 1 year so condition should be good.

What's a good simple water heater brand and model (no need for rain shower or anything fancy etc)?

How much for the installation usually? I am just replacing another heater. :s13:

Bought my Ariston water heater from Sim Siang Choon as they have special offer.
The retail shop staff was very polite BUT the plumber they supplied was horrible.
This AH Heng and his assistant was very rude/refuses to answer questions and did NOT install the heater properly(I double check with Ariston after installation)

This Ah Heng (the Sim Chiang Choon supplied plumber) charge $200 for installation and Sim Siang Choon's office said I had to pay more if I want to make changes. Anyway they have only 1 plumbing contractor!

Is it true, storage type water heaters like the Ariston 15L/20L models can save more electricity than instant ones?
