In feedback thread theres 2 points of view. that one who feels he was hard done by and the one who is trigger happy and not budging.

When reddevil comments, the one whose hard done by gets annoyed, But the trigger happy ones see his comment and think this guy gets it and agrees! from their point of view hes not a nuisance but an awesome guy cause he makes them feel validated.

This member has a long history of trying to be helpful in some sub-sections of HWZ. This is the spirit of what a forum is about. To contribute and share knowledge.

The delivery from subject member may not be perfect. But do you selectively condemned the member because of a few selective and negative posts?

If red devil replies, just tell him off next time, but be careful to not flame him or break forum rules. I don't think mods will take action against him, but I do agree that he has no business poking his nose in other user's grievances in this section of the forum and act like he speaks for the mods.

This is one of the biggest nonsense I've read in my life .

A few and selective negative post? What a way to mislead people. I know you and he are basically brothers and have the same character. But, there's nothing "few" about it it's excessive him trying to poke his nose in complaints just to irritate people. Literally every single thread has his meaningless and uneccesafy comments.

If in EDMW you can give unnecessary points just because someone derailed a thread or someone responded something that a TS doesn't want being discussed in his thread, there's no reason why the same standards cannot be applied here. I've seen people get points for posting a SHE song in a thread which mentioned no SHE song. That's how low the bar currently is in deciding to give points. I don't agree with it, its a disgrace if you ask me. But since that's how things roll here, there's no reason why reddevil should not get infracted.

It's clear that somehow the same behaviour which gets points in edmw is tolerated here. The only difference being that his behaviour has the effect of angkat bollahing the mods while riling up forum members.

As I said before, it's about the right time now after what is it 4-5 years, to have a new slate of Mods.
Because what we are seeing are some Mods, for so long being Mods, they also want to post and have their positions, pov etc like any user. But because as Mods now, they find it difficult to accept the opposite view . A lot of petty reporting for the silliest or tiniest of misconduct. So basically the Mods will side with the reporter if his report matches their own views.
Without considering the larger picture, just based on the number of reports by people easily stung when their posts are rubbished, mocked or ridiculed. Which are perfectly normal things in any forum.

And fail to realise that whilst you can sue someone for slander/libel etc, it's not possible to sue a moniker, where no names or possibility of being identified are made.

Just chill lah. If you want to take umbrage, everything can be umbrage. I was totally puzzled by the umbrage taken when some call clubs Manure or Loserpool... This is infarction worthy? Are we kids now, running to teacher, teacher teacher, they called me names. You think Liverpool FC or Man Utd football clubs actually are bothered by such references? It's like a given, it's called banter, something so common in the UK between rival fans.

But if you want to be petty, you can easily take umbrage for such a silly thing. And the non explanation given by the Mod, that was another classic own goal

Well said, and I fully agree with you on this.

It's time for all the current mods to be retired, and for new mods to be appointed. After I told a mod off (Ottoke), I got infracted four times WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS OR SO, for posts...which were deleted by him, so I don't even know what sins I had committed.

If I am such a bad edmwer, how does the honourable mod explain the thousand over LIKEs I received from SEVERAL members besides others who "laughed" because of my humour. The reasons for my infractions were just NONSENSE.
