i have bad experience with webvisions, maybe that time all staff is on mc.
but the most important how many technical support the webhost company have?
company as big as webvisions (example) if have only 2 technical support, do you think ok?

ok, tks. i have problem with my current service provider, was trying to ask for a discount as they were charging very high. I think they got a little offended as they categorized those companies offering cheap service as sub-standard. They keep insist that their services r very good, many MNCs use them like Tos*i*a, Med**c*rp, etc. when i mentioned that NewMedia Express was so much cheaper n IDA uses them too. they went deeper into it n go very technical which i was speechless as i m such an expert in IT. they went on to ping the ip n saying that it's not hosted by NewMedia Express, they even called IDA n asked but IDA claimed they dun know abt NewMedia Express.

in the end, he was kind enough to offer me a discount but i like to know if what he did or claimed was true. n how do i check with on hosting companies whether they really hosting the servers themselves or sublet to us, end-users?

Interesting. I am quite sure you are right On the contrary, it seems more like you have put up a claim that wholeheartedly shows your narrow minded character and also greatly pose as how oneself can be the hurdle towards own advancement and improvement.

As such you can always ignore my posts since they are of little use to people that holds so much bias. They probably wouldn't serve you much good either.

On second thoughts, it's is quite honoured to get someone joined since 2008 and given only 3 post counts, and the only one that can be found, and it is to put me down with claims. I must have gain enough attention in your eyes and make an effort to perform such an act. Kudos to your effort.

The danger of all the companies you listed is that their redundancy is hardware based. If the entire datacentre goes down, your email will be affected. In the case of Oryon, you have multiple geographical mail servers.

Webhosting in Singapore is quite a ripped off in SG especially if you on a tight budget. Bluehost has a very attractive price with their unlimited plan but the hosting speed is terrible considering your audience mostly in SG

I came across a US web hosting company but they have hosting servers is several countries including Singapore. They do have unlimited plan too and you can host it in Singapore server. Their cost is about 5 USD a month with unlimited space and bandwidth.

If you do have sites that serve a general audience in the globe and mainly in the US but require reasonable good speed in SG, I would recommend getting a web host that has servers based in California, Los angeles. Singapore has good connection speeds to servers located there and is great for Singaporean online entrepreneurs to start online businesses for the globe.
