I have a westone um3x

My main gripe with westone is their stock cables, they feel really flimsy

My um3x one got problem after 1yr plus :s11:
But have to say the RMA process (direct back to US) is solid. Their customer service is top notch, send back a pair of earphones for repair come back with extra pouch and some tips. :s12::s12:

UM1 > UM2 > Westone 3 > Westone 4

And yes... I LOVE their cables... thin, light and tough

I watched their video on YouTube (if you go search custom iem on YouTube it's the first link) and they said they take pride in their qc. Every single monitor gets checked before leaving the factory

Seems like a company that really takes pride in itself

been using my um1 for 7years and still going strong.love the cables and fitting.
