What is the best way to increase storage space on my gaming laptop?

I need at least 500 Gb more, using mainly for gaming, like store those game with 50 Gb+ or more, and can plug & play the game. if possible I dont want to unscrew and change anything inside. Will the speed be affected much if i connect via USB? Any advice?

tiagong uninstall the OS, will free up quite a bit of space.

Most gaming laptops should have support to add on a second storage - add in a new nvme/ssd drive :s

If not, connect an external ssd via thunderbolt

What's your laptop model? See if it supports adding a SSD internally .. then take it to a competent shop and ask them install a compatible 1TB SSD. Will work out cheaper than external ssd for sure .. and less hassle

how much slower? say for example, BF2042. if load the map takes like 1 minute+ still can lah. i dont mind waiting, just as long as the game can function properly. If lets say load FPS game is longer, then i just install non-FPS (light duty) games on the external HDD and use my main HDD for heavy duty loh
