Very shocked that majority (40) say they have negative networth. All students?

I still owe a lot of money for my house loan, so my network is negative

The meelians cannot buy happiness. Got a good family to go home to. Spouse and kids happy and healthy. There is laughter and joy every day.

Sooo much more precious than got meelians but no love at home. Always quarrel with spouse till disconnected. Kids living their own lives.

they will ask me to move with a couple of years of notice .

But the goal is to be top 1% net worth AND top 1% income.

Have high net worth but not the same high income means living off savings or assets.

According to this, our wealth is in top 6% but as hubby not working, household income only at median. If only my income is at top 8%.

I think in SG that is insufficient. Remember that housing is very expensive in SG. A large portion of net worth for SGreans goes to the property they are living in.

Hence they would need $2m PLUS the value of their property. More likely need $3-$5m total net worth then can retire with good life.

Another measure is income. Ideally aim is for top1% net worth PLUS top 1% income.

Didn't your parents compare how different cousins were doing in school? Who got how many A stars in PSLE? A1 in O level?
