Whenever I'm in Singapore I will go to that D'Rubinah makan place to eat because its only about 5 minutes walk from where I stay. I like to go there in the evening because its cooler, more lively with lights, more crowds and I have more appetite to eat when I see many people eating haha. The food there taste delicious. If hot day its quite warm while eating there though they have fans on. They also have a eating room where there is aircon too but I think they only open it when outside no more seats.

I never eat at Al Azhar at Bukit Timah but passed by those F&B there near Beauty World blue line mrt station last year. Me and wife ended up Dominos Pizza there haha..

Well, whenever you at sembawang road just drop by and try the food there. Those shops houses are just next to Sembawang Shopping Centre. It's easy to locate.

Supposed to eat popiah today but popiah skin is all sold out. So God gives us lemon, we make lemonade. Eating it without skin. Tastes as good.

Breakfast was oats with mixed nuts n fresh milk. Very filling.

tomato egg (番茄炒蛋） is easy to make and nutritious (can fulfill your veg and protein needs in one dish).



ingredient cost for 1 pax:
egg $0.35,
tomato (about 200 gm) $0.80,
veg (100 gm) $1,
rice $0.20
= about $2+ per pax.

*if can master making tomato paste from fresh tomatoes (not difficult), can use the base to make pasta as well other than the above tomato egg dish.
