Below 1.70m?
Hey, thanks.really nice! More outstanding than some 'fashion' expert wanabes.
Anyway, should the highest button at the neck area be buttoned up when wearing tie or it should be left open? Or depends on individual comfortability?

i will cause it will be way comfortable but i don't wanna look a like noob by not buttoning. lol
Haha. IMO, if u want to look like a gentleman, then unfortunately must button.
Not buttoning is the "by left". Up to individual

Do you all use garment steamer or steam from a steam iron to stem the jacket? I read that it's best not use a hot iron with contact with the jacket.
Not buttoning and loose tie gives a casual and relaxed appearance, good with sports jacket and "fun" ties. Go try with a 4 in hand knot.
Buttoning up is the default for any formal occasion. Half or full windsor depends on your collar spread and face width.
Tried steamer before, no use one.
Iron with a damp handkerchief much more effective.
If you use enough steam, you don't need the damp cloth. If you use a dry iron, you need the damp cloth. If you've accidentally shined the fabric, spray a very very small amount of water over the affected area, then put on a damp cloth and press. It'll take most of the shine away.
that's why it's called pressing instead of iron.. hahaOne more thing do not glide the iron up and down. Press down lift up press down. Repeat.
