Saw a caveat logged for my neighbor recent sale at $1.36mil. Psf is close to 1k.

Unit was bought at 600k plus in 2006. Huat Ed for them.
Compound gain is about 5.1%.

Even LINQ is fully sold out at launch.

Property prices can only go up!!! :s12: :s12: :s12:

Hehe, at this entry price for the linq, I would camp here to wait and see who will be footing the bill and buy from the first owner :D

If there’s really such suckers, it also means I should be damn happy and can retire early cashing out my existing prop :D

After today’s highlight at D21, if the upcoming new launches are beating expectations as well, what do u think of the chances for another round of cooling measures? Possible?

Personally, I do think property market is very hot. A couple of friends who are on the lookout for properties, mentioned that the units they are interested in are all snapped up quickly.

Even the founder of 1m65, mentioned that we are likely in a property bull market.

If an enbloc fever comes back in 2021, i think there may be more cooling measures, despite Covid

everything double price by 2030
but not your salary:s8::s8:
The solution for young Singaporeans is not to get married or not to have as many kids.

So that ah gong can continue to "blame" and bring more FTs.

Who will continue to up the demand and hence prices of properties.

Hey presto, higher property bull!

Now that explains the bullish bids behind the two recent GLS plots.

Due to ah gong "cooling" policies, developers have no choice but to bid higher and higher as they need the land to build to sell.

Based on that and the increased costs of housing Banglas due to covid, very likely new launches will be priced even higher.

Higher stamp duty collections to return the Covid $100b! I think ah gong really smart leh

On one hand loss of jobs, new grads underemployed with lower salaries. Other hand let the FT fm PRC, Thai etc in to bid up private property prices as flight to safe haven assets, plus policies like mortgage deferment.

Short term look good, but long term will hv problem.

HDBs also go up up up and away!
No $$ but need big space, then go CCK BTO, or squeeze smaller pigeon hole.

Sinkies deserve the most expensive public housing in the world :D
