Transcend external HDD is good. A bit bulky, but it's shock proof.

anw i bought seagate backup plus 4tb US110, and wd my passport 4tb US109

All between 85-89$range. I think I go with wd since it has 3yrs warranty and the model is newest among the lot

My seagate external HDD suddenly stop working..although they replace it with a new one, all data is lost

3) Toshiba Canvio II
4) Transcend 25MC (C-USB)

I think he meant cant power the hdd based on usb ports unlike 2.5. Need plug a 3 pin source
