Which Graphics card to buy in Y2025

GPU prices are crazy high. A RTX 2070 card cost more than my build!
I'm currently waiting for the rumored super RTX cards and AMD's 7/7 GPU release. Hopefully older GPUs will be cheaper by then.

If I can sell my 1060 6GB for 180, is 2nd hand Vega 56 worth it for 300+? Is the upgrade in performance worth 120+? Or should I wait till 2020 GPUs to upgrade?

My old GPU is a Gigabyte GTX 1060 6G (about $450 in 2016), think now age already. Sometime window will restart if screen refreshes too quickly. Look for a similar replacement GPU.

I like the current GPU as in, the fan only spins when bootup and silent during normal operation. Is this the norm for most GPU now? I'm using it mainly to watch video and some light gaming via bluestack. Daily about 5~6 hrs, weekend more.

Any recommendation?

Local market pricing changes are too slow...what happen in other countries, it takes a few weeks to months to have the price change (dropping)

But when prices rise, by the time someone read about it in the news, new higher prices ready implement by these same sellers
