their room at treated, like the wall dont reflect much light,their projector are high end.

mine at most 1.5k. no fight at all
Means the tw designer that recommend Canon is most likely smoking lo, make me thought projector has hope.

someone told me China one is gd. I don’t know got Hao siao or not. Or the ‘good’ Is value for money or specs v ky kind n cheap , gd

projector is for the movie theatre exp, it nv about picture Qua

Cannot la. The grays make it look so muddy. Projector's huge flaw is it can never render blacks decently.
Sure got some compromise one unless you are willing to splurge on a high-end laser projection

Even for TVs, the black is also not really that black

Be it tv or projectors, black will only look black when room is dark.

Yes, JVC are known for their blacks but you need a bat cave for that. Else, it doesn't work. ALR screens only work to a certain extent.

I have contemplated on getting a retractable projector hidden within the false ceiling but ditched the idea. Lots of moving parts (higher chance of breaking down) plus maintenence of projector will be too much hassle to me.
