Loosen can use any adjustable wrench that can fit the nut at max opening (mean is a small wrench)... U only need one or 2 half turn to loosen then can use hand twist all the way till the nut come off the thread
Yeah. I know what you mean.
It sound simple but when doing it is quite different.
I expect many cuss words from my mouth.

Not for this particular use case. It is my most used adjustable when working anywhere that doesn't require leverage. Silky smooth one hand adjustment.
Yes. I actually do have one of this in my tool box.

Off main water supply and make sure faucet is in a "close" position before removing the flexible hose. By doing so, the water remains "locked" in the hose, therefore it won't flow out instantly. Next, position the hose into the pail and turn on the faucet to release rest of the water.

This is the one I use at home
This is the correct one. Just need to get the correct size. All others are waste of time.

Am replacing my basin mixer water tap.
I see that there are 3 different types of wench available to use in tight places.

Those with experience can advise which wrench to buy?
No. 1, No. 2 or No. 3?

Thanks

My underside of the water tap.
It is a very tight space. The left side (white colour is the sink)

2 is better.

Those indeed are the best. Though have to remove the hose first before tightening or releasing. No. 2 however can tighten or releasing the nuts without disconnecting the hose and can be useful in certain circumstances.

I have both types.

When buy the tap, just replace the flexible hose. If don't want to replace, at least get the rubber gasket/o-ring.
The flex hose connection to the tap sometime can drip water when your rubber o-ring used up. Usually the tap come with flex hose, but need to check the length.

can buy better brand if you don't call plumber, use the plumber cost to get better quality. Rubine or rigel quite ok. Else get grohe if you heavy duty user.

All no good, there is another one which looks like a steel pipe, the plastic one no. 2 is usable but flexes if you need extra tightening torque, the rest are awkward to use.
