Friend....If one does not have any next-of-kin left and did not inform anyone about the will, how will the law firm find out about the death?

You can engage the service of a wills writing and custodian company to safe-keep your will and also be your executors too.
I'm thinking of giving away to charity. So beneficiary is not a person.
Any recommendation?
Ocbc has an online will generator, I just used it. It's free of charge and is good enough for my usage
is the OCBC Online Will Generator sufficient? my parents and I aren't that financially saavy and we don't really have much assets. thinking if it's good enough?

Quite true ...Yeah, I also wonder how that's going to work out.
The reason why I'm thinking of getting a law firm to be executor is bcos I dun trust my family to do it, since I'm thinking of not leaving anything for them in my willThey can just throw my will away and rely on the law to get a share

Want to know this too..
The Online Will Generator utilises a basic Will template and has been prepared upon the advice and with the assistance of Hin Tat Augustine & Partners and does not necessarily deal with every important topic or nor cover every aspect of the topics with which it deals. The Online Will Generator is intended for general use only and does not contain or convey any legal or other advice. You should seek legal advice from appropriately qualified lawyers for more specific Will requirements (e.g. Islamic law, persons under 21, not residing in Singapore etc.).

One option is to just leave it to intestate succession act.
Or make yr own arrangements in yr dying days.
Like transfer money between banks yrself.
Set up joint accounts for shares.
Set up jt accounts for bank money.
Sometimes better not to make a will.
Because often u might change yr mind about who inherits what.
And if u make a will, be too transparent, there r certain risks.
This is a poor advice. The cost and time for intestate act to distribute your estate is considerably higher. A basic will is better than no will in most cases.
