Lynch Bages '76 and Certain de May '79 both tasted very differently but I enjoyed them equally. Lynch Bages is still holding well, mellow down but I can still feel the bodied and it must be masculine when young. It has meaty and savoury character with dried fruits on palate. On the other hand Certain de May '79 is still amazingly youthful with fruits and herbs on a subtle palate.
Do not judge them by price or classification. Although it may not be super good but I believe most of them can turn out to be a very enjoyable wines especially you take into consideration of the price and age of wines. Enjoy!
