We can stay at a place for so long doesn't mean u will b the same, becos each individual has diff traveling pattern, mayb u will b bored after a while? But if u were a nature lover, i believe u will like it.

Winter... thn u must ride the Sagano Scenic Railway also, for the scenery.
Not sure wat u can do there during winter also? Appreciate the snow all over the place? Wow!

I rem it's very cold when i went there (autumn)!!! *shivering*

Consider going to the Furusato Matsuri which is held in Tokyo Dome from 9th to 18th Jan. Nation-wide food festival + cultural performances + pageants + mascots contest + national donburi championship, etc....

now got quite a few good hotels in osaka for dec! I booked APA Hotel Shinsaibashi-Namba.. less than 5mins walk from Namba subway, Namba Nankai, Namba JR stations! About $75/pax only wor!!
