This is a bit overkill, I find that you don't really need long john bottoms unless it's sub zero. Waterproof layer not really needed either unless you're going to be out in the snow for prolonged periods.

Those types of hand warmers are not as good as the USB battery rechargeable packs.

Get the battery ones.

We used to have those electronic hand warmers... but very troublesome to charge... my family already got so many devices to charge liao... and nowadays scared all these cheap china-made hand warmers will explode... hahaa...

Those disposable heat packs are very handy... and are widely available in convenience stores... not too expensive also... anytime we need or runs out can just buy more... and they come in various sizes... usually we buy those very small ones for the kids... they can put inside the pocket of their jackets... adults can get larger ones...

i brought leg warmers in lieu of longjohns for easy shoving in a pocket but so far the number of times i needed them like can count with 1 hand. good pair of thick pants still the best.....

Bro...u are overseas for so long.. used to the cold. We chao sng ppl in SG wear jeans for air con malls only. Outdoor how to jeans?! lol
Like I said earlier depends how long you gonna be outdoors for. And what the temp is. Any windchill? Damp cold or dry cold?

If you staying outdoors for long time even going to camp and sleep outdoors then yes should bundle up a lot

But if outdoors long time then is doing what?just stand around? Why? No fire to warm up?

If skiing will get hot even sweat one.

If just going out of building to car then drive to location then go inside indoors no need so elaborate clothing.

Get good gloves and head covering for ears. Hiking shoes can already.

Also can. They work better in damp cold. Needs moisture. Also works for above -15.

For -20 and below and dry cold it doesn't do much.

Share your winter experiences.
How you do your layering for the Winter holiday season? What are the winter wear brands you go for and recommend and how much are you willing to spend for each winter holiday season?

For me, if I am heading for minus temperature, Ice breaker merino wool of 200 - 260 is a must followed by a fleece jacket and a good down (FP 800 - 1000) plus a hard shell

Share your winter shopping loots and footwear and socks too and the activities and places you go. For me Uniqlo don't seems to work.

Freezing in heat tech and now they launch the cashmere series but i have doubts abt it
Ask AI give u a Decathlon list. It'll work even for Harbin type of weather. Uniqlo is meant for 0-10 degrees

Camping in winter?
Should have 🔥 right?
You buy mountain gear more appropriate.
The jackets are different.
Canada Goose brand will work. Expedition type.
What's the temp where you going?

@ChuppaChups I think you shy to say where you going and details.
Is ok.
You just ask AI. Let AI know where you going. What time of year. What you doing. Indoors outdoors. And ask AI what gear to get from Singapore. It should be able to tell you.

Where in Canada are you? I am planning a bear hunting trip to manitoba in 2029.
I'm in Calgary.
I recall someone saying they planning bear hunt trip in MB. Guess that's you!
What time of the year is the hunt in 2029? Curious.

I am not into hunting.
